Graphic

Hi everyone!

So I've decided to dedicate a considerable amount of my free time to shoot (call it a resolution of sorts). These photos of Lexy were taken last Tuesday at The Collective (more on that soon). I shot her earlier this year on a whim because I love how she's able to carry her hairstyle so well. I met Lexy when I joined GGFM (my school's radio station) and we got along pretty well. The both of us like to fangirl over Japanese films and culture so it was pretty much inevitable.

Anyway! I'm happy to tell you guys that I have a few cool things planned for the next few weeks. I currently have 2 posts queued so make sure to keep checking and I'm working on updating my blog's layout.

Weekend Drive

Happy hump day to you all!

Over the weekend I took some photos of my long time friend (and model), Steffi. Its always a pleasure working with someone you've grown so close to over the years. I love how we were able to form a dynamic where we both don't need to say much to get "the" shots.

The last time we hung out was over a year ago and we still find ourselves reminiscing over our time in New York. We shot different layouts under the course of an hour (which is probably the fastest I've ever worked in a while). I've got some posts lined up for you guys so stay tuned!

P.S.
I'm in the process of looking for someone to redesign my website so if you know anyone who might be interested, please send them my way!

dye hard

Hi everyone! Happy 2015, I can't believe I've had this blog for over 2 years now. I'll definitely try to keep it active. In the meantime, here are some photos I took today. Nina goes to UP for Fine Arts and the minute she dyed her hair pink, I knew I had to shoot it.

People Watching: Highstreet

Yesterday my friend Pato and I decided to take pictures of strangers in HighStreet. It was a refreshing experience due to how it was eons away from what I've grown to be comfortable with. I highly suggest budding and seasoned photographers alike to try it out. The exercise helped me fine tune my "photographic" taste because of how candid and spontaneous everything was.

January happens to be one of my favorite months not only because of the 4-6pm window of magical light but also because I happen to turn a year older on the 31st.
